Our pick of the sweetest summer styles by Manon Baptiste

Social editor Bethany picks three of her favourite styles from the pretty, wearable summer collection by Manon Baptiste and shows you how she’s wearing them.

Gingham, a washed-out colour palette, light natural fabrics and beautiful shapes are what guided my picks of the current Manon Baptiste collection. These are pieces I’m going to wear at home and on holiday, all summer long…

The pretty day dress

This chambray-look dress is so lovely that a woman came up to me in the street at the weekend to ask where I got it. It’s the perfect length on me, as someone who doesn’t love short dresses, and the frill is such a nice detail.

The wearable shirt dress

This gingham shirt dress is selling out fast, so if you want it in either the blue or the red, you’ll have to get your skates on. I love this dress because it feels elegant but totally wearable, and I just adore a midi length, especially in summer.

The on-trend top

I went for the shirt dress in blue gingham so I could get the off-the-shoulder top in red gingham, and I feel totally good about that decision. I love this top: I kept it on after shooting these photos and wore it to the pub to meet a friend on Friday night and felt great. If the off-the-shoulder shape wasn’t enough, the big sleeves are a really beautiful touch and, to me, sums up the attention to detail that I really love about Manon Baptiste pieces.
