The London blogger event

We rounded up some of our favourite UK bloggers to try out our high summer collection, but also get a sneak peek at what’s coming for autumn/winter…

Editor: Bethany Rutter

Last week the London team organised an event for our UK plus size blogger friends, getting everyone together at our office for a fun, relaxed evening of clothes and chatting.

Our amazing buying director Cheryl kicked things off by talking us through her high summer favourites, before getting us excited by showing a selection of pieces that are going to drop over the next few months for autumn/winter.

We made sure the bloggers were well fed and watered

Mobile beauty service Prettly were on hand to refresh anyone’s hair who needed that little extra glamour

The bloggers got to have a good trying-on session with our high summer pieces- Lucie looked amazing in our palm print maxi, Hollie sparkled in pretty peach while Steph went full Lemonade in a mustard maxi.

But most of all, it was an evening of fun, good vibes, great chat and mutual support between plus size women. Everyone telling each other how great they looked and offering positive reinforcement is always one of the highlights of events like this, at least for me

Bloggers’ A/W faves…

This Manon Baptiste tan suedette midi skirt looks like it was made for Em of Terrible Tumbles. Cool, chic, easy to wear: I can see it being a wardrobe staple by autumn/winter.

Gorgeous, glamourous Chloe Pierre worked come-to-bed chic in this Zizzi luxe-pyjama two piece. The wide leg trousers look incredible on her and the paisley print is a classic.

We can tell already this sheer black Live Unlimited jacket with a pleated bottom is going to be a big hit. It looked amazing on Mayah, and it’s the kind of piece that has a place in everyone’s wardrobe.

One piece that seemed to catch everyone’s eye was this Elvi fringed cardigan/jacket hybrid. It’s a fun, pretty statement piece, and we can’t hardly wait for it to drop for autumn…

A big thank you to Prettly for their services, Sunglasses Shop for their amazing contribution to our goodie bags, and Michael Chapman for taking all these brilliant photos of our bloggers.
