Did you know?
Knit: knitting is an extremely versatile method which can create various structures and patterns. The resulting look can range from extremely fine to elegant, extravagant or even coarse and casual fabrics.
Alpaca: alpaca fleece comes from the South American alpaca which is shorn every two years. The fibre is fine, soft and slightly curly and is excellent for providing insulation.
Polyacrylic/Acrylic: has a wool-like feel and so is often made into sweaters. While providing warmth, it is lighter than wool, and as a synthetic is more inexpensive. It takes and retains colour well, can be soft, and depending on how it is made is machine washable. It is also used to make fake fur.
